Dear Jules... home is where your heart is

4 April 2011

Hi loves! I hope you all had a beautiful weekend! We took a little break from blogging for two days and it was exactly what I needed. I just needed to regroup and let my mind rest. There's been a bit too much going on lately, so I decided to pack the car and drive up north to visit my mum. Momma's warm hug is the best cure for everything! I bet you all agree :)

My hometown is about 4 hour drive away from Helsinki, so we don't get the chance to visit as often as I'd like to. So every time I do, it's just the best feeling.

To share my love for this little town, called Kauhajoki, I thought I'd include a couple of photos that to me says home. How would you describe your hometown? xox mervi

It is good to rest every once and a while. I can say my home town is in Lisbon, I live in Almada wich is about 20 min by car. But whenever I go and spend a few days there I just feel so relaxed. specially because my granny gives me all the cuddles and best food you can ever imagine. :)

I can imaging how beautiful it must be there!♥
Happy for you that you had a chance to take a break and re-group.

P.S. Aren't mom's the best?!

So happy you were able to go home and unwind; it looks so beautiful and peaceful! I live about 5 hours away from my sleepy little farm where I grew up and every time I visit I'm reminded of what's important in life - we need these weekends away:)
